Validating an App for Recording Dietary Data
The e-DIA allows dietary intake data to be recorded in real time. It is a valid method of measuring group dietary intake at both the nutrient and food group level. e-DIA is a highly acceptable method for young people recording their daily food intake
Future work includes updating the database to include a large selection of Australian fast and café chain foods and a collaborative study on young adults’ fast food and eating out habits.
